Everything Is Grand In Wonderland, Until You Wake Up

It's a nice line, I know. Because I wrote it.

I swear if you don't keep up with my LP blog, you're missing out. At least in my opinion. I write the best stories, I'll take your mind to a whole different plane. I mean... if everyone was an airplane, what would you be? Think about it. I'm saying... if you're ground level, I can get you high. If you're in a one-seated crop duster, I can fly you around the world in a concord jet. It's all relative. Even though I wasn't talking about that type of plane... I got a bit sidetracked. Forgive that.

Anyway, what's good world?

Great day today. Not too hot, not too cool. Just right. Had to go up to SIUE today to pick up my book rentals, talk to the CJ Dept. Board Director, and buy a parking permit. Only thing wrong with today is the lack of CJ 201 openings. I'm not entirely sure right now, but it may go into effect that I won't be able to declare my major in Spring '09... which could potentially place me in St. Louis for another 3 and a half years. I won't allow that to happen. So I have to re-email the CJ Dept. Director and get things straightened out and/or beg for my life.

Otherwise, everything was everything. Still looking for a job. It's pretty bad in the area when the only job openings around are only opened to certified personnel and college graduates. Even resorted to McDonald's and they're not hiring. Sad times.

Met some people today, nothing special. But who knows, they have potential. Either way, be on the look-out.

EDIT: I just read this: "Girls are like apples on trees. The best ones are at the top of the tree. The boys don't want to reach for the good ones because they are afraid of falling and getting hurt. Instead, they just get the rotten apples from the ground that aren't as good, but easy. So the apples at the top think something is wrong with them, when in reality, they're amazing. They just have to wait for the right boy to come along, the one who's brave enough to climb all the way to the top of the tree."

Guess what? That's bullshit, because I've been sitting & picking apples in the top of the tree for 7 years.

Out'cuh.

Maybe those apples have been left up at the top of the tree for too long, they went bad?

Hope everything gets sorted out. I can imagine you don't want to stay in St. Louis for all that time.

That is a pretty nice line.
And your LP blog is always nice to read.

Keep re-emailing! Persistence is the way to go.

I've seen that quote before. Lol, I thought it was cute. Not true, but cute.

I'm saying, the tree I've been picking at had worms in those sonsofbitches, man.
