So, today has been a long. Tedious. Frustrating. Irritating. Inconceivable day.

I took my parents to the airport. They'll be back on Sunday. Drove their car back to the house, after a little detour to Dorsett. Nice place I suppose, but I digress. Came home and pulled into the garage. Turned the car off, went inside. A hour of so later, want to smoke, and it's amazing. But I locked the car keys inside the car. To make things worse, I don't have a phantom key for that car.

Fucking amazing.

So not only are my Newports and lighter in there, but also my new CDs, my PSP, my phone, and my pride. Why isn't there a spare key for that fucking car? Jesus F. Christ.

Moving along, the rest of the day hasn't been all cheery either. Granted, thank God I locked my phone in that car. Now I won't be tempted. But the XBOX 360. Oh, man... the fucking XBOX 360. On Sunday, my brother got his new computer. He only had one ethernet cable in his room, so I take the 360 downstairs to mine. REMEMBER, the XBOX 360 was working perfectly 5 minutes before I took it downstairs. So, I hook it up, A/V cables, ethernet, everything. Turn it on, and the XBOX LIVE does not work. Matter of fact, it's not working right fucking now as I stare at it. I have done EVERYTHING under the motherFUCKING sun to get this bitch ass videogame console to work.

I have been fucking trouble-shooting my feet off my body for the past 5 days. What the fuck.

• Switched ethernet cables from the 360 to the switch/router.
• Changed ports on the switch/router for the 360.
• Power-cycled the modem, router, & switch multiple times.
• Placed MANUAL settings into the 360, to no avail.
• AUTOMATIC settings leave me with an error as well.
• Inserted the 360's MAC address into my router.
• Switched settings on the DHCP server, multiple times.
• Changed the UPnP settings.
• Tried port transferring directly to the LIVE servers.
• Connected the 360 directly to the router/switch/modem.
• Shut off the router's firewall.
• Shut off every computer's firewall.
• Factory reset my router.
• Updated the firmware.

And on my LAST limb, prayed. None of which worked, especially the last one.

The only errors I get are the following:

1. If set to pick up the IP address automatically, the IP test fails for the 360. Giving me the half-assed error that, "Your console was unable to negotiate a lease with your DHCP server. Make sure that addresses are available on your server.". And turst me, there are over a hundred addresses it can fucking choose.
2. If set to pick up the IP address manually, the IP test fails for the 360. Giving me the bullshit error that, "Your gateway could not respond to your network request.". That is total horse shit. I set up a fucking MAC address on the router, and everytime the 360 is online, it shows the static IP for the fucking XBOX (192.168.1.120) on the DHCP server lease list. Which then fucking counter-pwns the bullshit error the automatic setting is giving me.

I'm running out of fucking options here. Just fucking God, all I want is the LIVE connection to work.
